RIP-IT has outdone themselves with the introduction of a highly innovative bat design that is now available to order! The brand new RIP-IT Helium BBCOR Bat is engineered to hold the perfect amount of compressed helium gas to decrease the moment of inertia and increase swing speed. It features a five piece design that includes an internal fill valve and is designed to feel great with the optimal swing weight to increase power and control. As the ball makes contact, the barrel compresses and explodes out to propel the ball at a very high exit speed, resulting in harder hits that go further. The Helium BBCOR bat is a radical new concept and we can’t wait to give it a swing! Only 5000 of these bats are being made, so order yours today before they’re all gone.
Anderson Bats has released their 2015 models. There are some familiar faces, but Anderson Bat Company has infused the line with some new styles. Anderson Bats brought back their mainstay with the 2015 Techzilla 2.0. The Anderson Techzilla 2.0 features a multi-wall construction with a very light and durable AB900 Aerospace Alloy. As in year’s past, the Techzilla is a drop 9 youth bat that is approved in most youth leagues.
Anderson Bats released a new bat, which we are pretty excited about. The Anderson Bat Company Flex Bats are balanced bats with a “muscled up” barrel. The key to driving the ball is to create swing speed, which is done with a very lightweight aerospace alloy and an ultra-thin handle. We’ve been anticipating Anderson Bats releasing a BBCOR model and think the Flex is a great addition to our BBCOR lineup!
Wilson has done it again for 2015. Teaming up with some of Major League Baseball’s biggest stars, Wilson has released some of the most anticipated gloves and mitts. Our personal favorite over the past few years has been the Wilson A2K Brandon Phillips Baseball Glove. This 11.5 inch baseball glove is the perfect marriage of flash and production. It features the durability and production that we have all come to expect from Wilson A2K gloves and the flash of DATDUDE, Brandon Phillips. Along with Brandon Phillips, Wilson teamed up with Dustin Pedroia, Gio Gonzalez, David Wright, CJ Wilson and of course Pudge (we’re aware he’s not a current player).
Wilson A2K and Wilson A2000 Baseball Gloves are not for everyone. Whether they are too expensive or you just aren’t that serious of a player, Wilson has done a great job of covering all price points. The new Wilson A1K ($189) and Wilson 6-4-3 series ($99) gloves are very high quality gloves without having to shell out A2K money. Wilson truly has all needs covered for 2015.

Easton’s 2015 baseball bats are now available to ship and they really outdid themselves this year! Between the revolutionary Easton Mako Torq, the brand new Z-Core bats and Easton’s trusted Speed Series and Power Series bats, there is something for all levels of ball players and all types of hitters. Easton’s Thermo Composite technology has allowed them to lengthen barrels and widen the sweet spot, while decreasing swing weight and improving overall performance.
The 2015 Easton Mako Disruptors video below takes you behind the scenes at Easton, how their engineers developed the Mako Torq over the past two years and why the 360 Torq handle will improve your game. The Easton Mako Torq helps you reach more inside pitches and delays wrist-roll so you stay in the zone longer while delivering more power on contact. See for yourself:
Easton is attempting to revolutionize the bat world with the introduction of the 2015 Easton Mako Torq Baseball Bat. They will have a limited production run of these bats and the BBCOR will run $550, but the imagination on their R&D team is shining through. In a world where BBCOR has sort of leveled the playing field, Easton took to other means to enhance performance of their already top-of-the-line bats.
So, how does it feel? My impression when being told about this bat was that there was no way this would work. Then I put the Mako Torq in my hands. The natural movement of my hands when swinging a bat was made easier by the rotating Torq handle. The Torq handle rotates 360 degrees, but only about a quarter turn was necessary with my swing. My reservations of the bat rolling over or slipping out of my hand were gone. The slight rotation made the swing feel natural and the hand turn effortless.
I can’t wait to get the Mako Torq in our customer’s hands to hear their reviews. We have the 2015 Easton Mako Torq on the site now, with a first ship date of September 5th. Only a limited number of these innovated bats are being made, so pre-order yours today before they’re all gone! Baseball Rampage proudly carries the entire 2015 Easton bat lineup.

The Mako Catcher’s Set is designed with one thing in mind and that is speed– a common theme when it comes to any of the Mako products debuted by Easton this year.
The Helmet is designed to be snug to the head to prevent any rotation, therefore eliminating any chances that vision may be obstructed. The rear cap of the helmet is designed for high speed removal which allows for the helmet to roll off the head. This is crucial for times a catcher needs to react quickly to make split second decisions on the field. The Mako helmet is also equip with a shock absorbing frontal cage to help take away some of the impact when being hit by a ball.
The Chest Protector is lightweight and moves with your body. The Mako chest protector has wedges that will expand and contract when there is any type of movement therefore preventing any discomfort during each play. Within the chest protector, there is shock absorbing foam to help mute some of the impact received from the baseball and collisions. There are also large ventilation holes that makes the chest protector unquestionably one of the most breathable on the market for 2014.
The Shin Guards fit so well to the body that very little in game adjustments will be needed. The Conic Knee Cap design adds a considerable amount of stability while blocking. The inner knee pad provides much needed comfort to catchers when slamming their knees to the ground. Just like the helmet and chest protector, there is a great amount of ventilation within the padding of the shin guards that makes them very breathable during each practice and game.
